Civil War Encampment - July 24, 2010 I've been to Travellers Rest once before but did not stay long. I read somewhere that there was to be a Civil War Encampment there today so I decided to stop by and take a few photographs. I'm not sure whether I got there before most others or whether there just wasn't a very big turnout, but there were not a lot of people there. Of course our near 100° heat with high humidity might have had something to do with it as well!
